What old games are you still playing?

Go ahead and define an old game to your own definition.
Now, what old games are you still playing? What game catches your fancy and you install it on the PC semi frequently to get yet another fix on? What gaming system and game do you keep around just to hook up to the TV to play?
I have several I still cycle through. Good games that just never die. The Myth series made by Bungie is always a favorite. Just installed it recently and am trying out the new community patches. Very well done stuff. I still go through the Freespace series every few years. Homeworld is yet another. The original Half-Life of course. Hard to believe its over 10 years old by this point. Some older titles I still give a go every once in a while. X-Com, Star Control 2, Wing Commander Privateer. Graphics be damned, the games were well made. For console stuff, I picked up Super Marion 3 for the Gameboy Advance SP. I've beaten the game like 50 times by now, but its a great way to waste time when I have little else to do and its in my pocket.

Neverwinter Nights. It's finally starting to die, but it had a truly epic run and is still puttering along. Multiplayer is where most of the action is, but downloading and creating single-player mods has its appeal as well.
Baldur's Gate 2 has a spot on my harddrive right now too. I just don't have the time to commit to the massive playthrough that it requires.

Descent 3. Until the joystick broke, that is.

Oni, SFC2 (gee...), Half-Life, Thief, Mech Commander, Homeworld, Descent 1 and 2 (but not 3), Exile 1&2&3 (but not Avernum[sp]). Those have semi-permanent places on my HD.

Funny this topic came along, because I just reinstalled Max Payne 2 the other day.
I also wanted to give Sim City 4 another run, but alas, it doesn't run on my PC anymore

Fallout 2, UFO/X-Com, Freespace 2, Thief 2, Half-Life, Planescape: Torment, Master of Orion, Fantasy General, System Shock 2. Also NetHack, but I don't know if it really counts since it does get new updates once in a blue moon
.
Also, this summer I went completely nuts for Titan Quest (+Immortal Throne), but I don't think it really counts for this category.

Jagged Alliance 2: It's a whopping 10 years old (in Vista it's listed as being from 1999), but with the v1.13 mod it becomes INCREDIBLE due to all the changes made.
For console stuff, I just started playing Onimusha 3 again this week, and I still have a collection of older PS2 games at home along with my 360 trio (Kengo: Legend of the 9, Star Trek: Legacy, and Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation).

At the moment I pretty much only play older games, I have simply lost interest in paying full ticket price for the generally mediocre wares being turned out by the games industry right now. I played through Condemned for the first time recently, and on my list of games to play I have Dungeon Keeper, the Thief series (never played these at all, so looking forward to them), Deux Ex (I played it at release, but never finished due to losing my saved games), Sniper Elite (from a recommendation here) and Aliens vs. Predator.
As for consoles - I was recently given an N64 with a fairly large selection of games by a friend, and I get more entertainment from it - F-Zero, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark etc... - than I do from my dust covered Wii.
I have to say though, unlike seemingly many people here, I have a low tolerance for re-playing a game I have previously completed even within the last few years. All these old games I am playing are either so ancient that I barely remember any details about them or, more often, are games that just passed me by when they first came out.
One exception is Battlezone, which is one of my favourite games and pretty much never leaves my computer. I find that as you scoot around the open landscapes of the various planets and manage your fledgling base it conveys the feeling of being isolated on a hostile world very effectively. The Cold War setting is also quite fun.
This thread does remind me it would probably be good fun to play the X-wing/Tie Fighter series of games again, and Homeworld also deserves some attention as I never finished it.

Silent Hill 2 and Commander Keen.
Silent Hill 2 I have to be very careful with; it only runs on Windows if you give it privileged access or run it as a superuser with the user account control turned off, so I'm going to try to see if I can run it in VMware with 3D acceleration. Commander Keen has to be run in VMware or in DOSbox, or it doesn't run at all.
Commander Keen is one of my childhood favourites. I remember playing it on my old, old computer using Mess-DOS and Windows 95, and it brings back memories. And it can be brainfuckingly hard in some cases. But it's fun.
As for Silent Hill, I decided to get into it after seeing it mentioned on a blog, so I picked up a copy, started playing it and that's about that.

Ha ha! Count me in too.

Z, mostly because it is the most challenging strategy game i ever played (against the AI, that is), and i still have to beat the final level.
MechWarrior 4, because its MechWarrior and there are no newer games (yet).
Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, just because its my favorite of the series.
Master of Orion 2 - there is no game that can replace it.
Homeworld 2, because it is the best space-stategy game until now.

I still frequently play Master of Orion 2, Alpha Centauri, Settlers 3, Civilization 3, Cossacks and Red Alert 2, as well as the odd Baldur's Gate 2 rerun. And I have my old Nintendo 64 hooked to my TV, just to play Lylat Wars from time to time.

Whut
Conquest, Warzone and Kohan are going to remain playable until the genre catches up with 1998 (which going by RA3 will be never).

Well, if Homeworld 2 is considered "old", then the list is more like;
- Descent 3 (Most of my entertainment is derived from modding the fuck out of it with all those wonderful freeware tools, these days. I must've played through it a thousand times by now, after all. I do still enjoy tuning up the speed to something more like a real jet could pull and just blasting around like that, though.)
- Homeworld 2 (As above. The Star Wars mod is particularly entertaining, too.)
- American Conquest (Damned fine game.)
- Age of Empires: Age of Kings (Good for playing with siblings.)
- Super Smash Brothers (Also good for playing with siblings.)
- Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Figured out how to mod that one, too, although the process is unreasonably painful.)
- Earth 2150 - Moon Project (Too bad Earth 2160 was a pedantic, shitty system hog. )
- Scorched Earth (Granted, its a modern, three-dimensional, open source remake, but whatever.)
Oh, and, of course, Solitaire and Minesweeper. Dunno if they count, though.
Games I would play if I could:
- Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire
- Fury 3
- Descent II
- Star Fox 64

I can't get enough Boulder Dash. Still play it where I can find it. Also every Asteroids-style shooter ever made (I still consider the now-defunct Hell Fighter freeware game the best thing fucking ever). I've been known to fire up my Commodore 64 emulator to play Castles of Dr. Creep, Lode Runner, Jumpman/Wizard from time to time.

I play Planescape: Torment, Master of Orion 2, and Ogre Battle pretty regularly. Original X-Com and Maniac Mansion every now and then also.

Right now, i'm playing Terror From The Deep and Megaman Legends 2 for my retro fixes, (having snagged the latter off ebay for twenty quid, copies usually hit 60 odd).

From Sumter to Appomattox 3. Pretty decent Civil War strategy game. It's abandonware now, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. The one that I'm still trying to find is a working copy of Civil War Generals 2. I love the old school tacticals!

I was playing through Final Doom up until I moved a couple weeks ago. Then I bought Crysis Wars and I've been fucking around with that too much to think about hitting up Final Doom again lately.
Every once in awhile I'll fire up
VGA Civil War Strategy and dick around with it, it's nice and simple so I don't have to invest a huge amount of time or thought into it, but I've figured it out so thoroughly that it's hard to play without either steamrolling the computer or being endlessly frustrated by severe cheating.
Usually every few months I'll pick up Red Storm Rising and get addicted to it until I either get bored of sinking Soviet carrier groups or get frustrated by getting gangraped by like five fucking hunter-killers.

Aside from a few titles previously mentioned, I still greatly enjoy Crimson Skies.

I regularly fire up all the games in the X-wing series to play through them, although TIE Fighter is a pain in the ass to get working right for some reason. I still haven't finished all the tours in the original X-wing, and the XVT balance of power campaign's final rebel mission is a pain in the ass 'cause I can't finish off the Vengeance.
I also fire up Mechwarrior 3, 4, 4 mercs, and mechcommander too.

Still load up Crimson Skies from time to time, still playing C&C The First Decade, and still get out the N64 for Perfect Dark. Alpha Centari is still fun. Mech4 and Half-Life 1 still get some play. Every couple of weeks I'll take out the old NES and play some Duck Hunt; beats the hell out of the Wii!

I still make a new clan in King of Dragon Pass every couple of weeks - though I only found the game in 2006, and it's style makes it pretty resistant to the problems of growing stale long term, though it does short term.

I picked up Neverwinter Nights 1 this past winter, so it's still kind of "new for me." I left all of my consoles at home (except my DS, but I don't think Pokemon Diamond counts as old), but I've recently played through Deadly Towers on my emulator. I play through Mega Man 2 every now and then (and the others, but 2 most often), though I much prefer playing it on the PS2.
I have a longing to play Final Fantasy Tactics again; FFTA2 is good, but the music isn't as good as the original. Maybe I can find a PSP on the cheap.

I might not even be home until November, but maybe we can play then (more like ThanksWARCRAFTgiving mirite). I have Starcraft with me though, perhaps we can arrange some online fake-LAN shenanigans.

I still pop in Chrono Trigger from time to time, and thanks to XBLA I've been playing Wolfenstein 3d every now and then.

Duke Nukem 3D is still a lot of fun. In retrospect I think it's my favourite 90s FPS for sheer gameplay, though as an overall package other shooters with actual plot and atmosphere beat it (e.g. System Shock 2). Those fanboys desperately pining after Duke Nukem Forever for over a decade didn't come from nowhere - if the original game hadn't been great the whole DNF phenomenon wouldn't have been possible.
