I didn't know whether to put this here or in OT.

Linka

Long story short: Five guys break into an apple store and steal 23 Macbooks, a dozen iPhones and a few iPods in less than a minute in front of a security guard while armed with nothing more than a brick.

Clearly is is because Apple is evil somehow. :D

So a few thugs broke in and ransacked an Apple display under a minute while the security guard's back is turned?

Why is this news?

Well the thieves would at least be able to resell the loot at higher prices due to stylish shit having a natural +50 bonus with some.

It's even more hilarious when you look at the comments for the article:
Apple does not use kensington locks on its demo units. They are ugly. They are only used on the genius bar mbps. Steve Jobs does not like locks, that is why. Some stores (95%) have the computers alarmed through the ethernet port, however, Jobs even thinks that is lame. In fact, the store near his home uses no alarm cables or locks at all. Imagine working there.
Finnish Apple retailers tend to take advantage of the Kensington slot found in every Apple computer and the windows are bulletproof glass.

You can't kensington lock stock either.

And who even cares? They have insurance for exactly this reason. I mean, 'lol Apple doesn't secure demo stock' is pretty weak for Apple hate, but come on. I should post an article every time some kid steals an empty box from EB.
