Fifa 2009

Post by WacoKid »

Hey guys and gals,

Anyone have trouble leveling up in Fifa 2009 on the PC? Seems like no matter what it takes like 20-30 games to level up, and my friend said on PS he leveled up every few games. Am I doing something wrong? I play on Pro or World Class, and complete all the tasks, no dice. I also keep seeing in the guides that you start out as reserve squad, but the computer makes me sub my player into the formation permanently. Googling was unsuccessful, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How long of games are you playing? As in, how long are you playing a half, realtime? I didn't level up quickly until I upped my half length to 20 minutes.

Seriously? Shit, I hadn't even thought of that variable. I was playing like 6 minute halves, I'll try longer. Does the skill level matter?

AFAIK, yes. Longer time plus harder skill level means more experience. Also make sure your player has a lot of ball-time and completes a lot of passes.

Hi friends,
I had played Fifa 2007 and planning to purchase the Fifa 2009 or the latest version of the Fifa produced by EA sports. I want to know from you guys that the graphics and the features of the game are same as in Fifa 2007 or it has been upgraded with new features? What are the basic requirement of computer to play the Fifa 2007. I love EA sports game, I also played cricket 2007 of the EA sports and many more.

It really depends which version you mean. The Xbox 360 and PC versions for instance have had pretty major overhauls since 2007, and I think the Wii version has as well. The PS2 and PSP versions on the other hand have one or two new features (and up-to-date stats, obviously), but the basic engine is pretty much the same.

If you're using a Wii you're best playing the Pro Evolution Soccer games. I'll probably get PES 10 for my Wii at Christmas, even though I'm getting a PS3 soon.

I hear FIFA10 is quite good for the PS3, Xbox and PC though.
