I know this is old and has been brought up before (Although not this video), but damn, it is all kinds of awesome, specially the horrid Japanese to English translation of the newscast. Oh, and "RICHARD!".

I haven't seen so much fucking crazy in 8 minutes.

To think we American's were denied a US release, I shall start a letter writing campaign demanding this game be brought to Xbox Live as a down-loadable title.
I mean seriously? The reflecting pond hides a secret Airforce One airfield? The President has a Mech suit in his office? And the ultimate enemy is a tea drinking Vice President? If only!

This actually got posted awhile ago in Testing, I think. If it weren't for the fact that finding a copy was impossible to find I'd totally import it though, because it really does look pretty awesome from the video.

What do you mean this wasn't released out of Japan?! It must be, and it needs a character customization menu, so you can have Obama as the main character

Technically speaking I don't think METAL WOLF CHAOS was ever in Japanese to begin with. In any case, it's fucking loaded with hotblooded shouting/nonsense. Would you vote for President Michael? I know I would.

The voice actors were all native english speakers. It just happens that the script is that badawesome. I think it is possible to get a copy of it- a guy here did.

That's correct, the game was written to be voiced in English. Its the same thing with games like God Hand where even though the script was written by some Japanese guy, it was written in English and given Japanese subtitles. Which is why its even more awesome because its English as filtered through all the popculture we've been exporting for years.

Perhaps incredibly, Metal Wolf Chaos and the also cheesy zombie-demon action game Ninja Blade are set in the same universe.

Is that the game with the cowboy hat, katana, and bikini attired lady as the star, or am I thinking of a different game here?

Ghetto edit: Upon double checking, I was thinking of another game, but I would not be surprised if all three were somehow related.

The POTUS wreckage surfing in his mecha brought a tear to my eye.

Really though, this game looks like an over-the-top blast. I'll have to see if I can somehow get my hands on it.

Why aren't there plans to make a movie out of this yet?
