Something strange happened to my Nokia E63 phone 2 days back. Its calender read "February 8th, 2008". Strange is the phone was only purchased last June. The battery is in excellent condition and furthermore the phone was charging before I went to sleep. After I woke up I found the calender reading February 8th, 2008. Chances of someone touching the phone while I was asleep is zero. So what could have caused this ? Cosmic ray strikes messing with the electronics maybe ?

But all my files, settings, data are all there though. According to the manual a reset command should nuke everything back to day 0.

Is you phone set to automatically update date and time? Maybe that glitched out.
