So, the apps on my Ipod touch have ceased working. They load, then immediately close out. I've done everything from simple restarts, to deleting and reinstalling the apps. Still, the auto closeout still occurs.
It doesn't for the 'de facto' apps, but any third party ones close immediately. I'm using a 3rd gen Ipod touch and the latest firmware.
Thus far, searching for a solution has produced no satisfactory answers. Does anyone here have any clue what is causing this issue and what can solve it?

Re: Ipod touch apps no longer working
Did you try backing everything up and resetting the ipod itself to factory defaults? It's possible it's the firmware itself though, some third party apps might have quit working because the latest firmware update rendered them incompatible.

Does that ever happen, outside of the big updates? I understand the touch is far more vulnerable to that than the phone, but still.
If it seems like a serious problem, just do as Zod says and backup then restore.

I was worried it would come to that, but was seeing if anyone might know anything. Time to back up and restore, I guess.
