I'm trying to build a Blood Ravens force, and might have a chapter master leading it. Can anyone provide in-game or cutscene screenshots of Captain Diomedes or the Honour guard? The youtube playthroughs are always from above and never zoom in...

don't have a screen shot but as far as I could tell Diomedes and the honor used normal power armor but with gold laureled white helm (same color as the shoulder guards) and gold trim on the shoulder guards(opposed to the normal armor having black trim).

PS. if it's not a tournament or anything you might even wanna experiement with the "canon" chapter-master for the Blood ravens (also the chief librian)

Well, what do you suggest I use for keywords, then? "Captain Diomedes" turned up nothing and "blood ravens honour guard" gave a lot of fan efforts, including Roleplayer's excellent and ornate models. Not what I was looking for, though.

As for manually, that's more or less what I'd use the pics for: as a basis for figures in my tabletop BR army.

I was actually thinking about doing Kryah eventually, once I figure out how to convert a decent looking librarian. For now, I'll be using the plastic Force commander, with Blood Raven-ish bits stuck under his kneepads.

P.S. My computer can't run DOW 2; it struggles with Dark Crusade as it is. Hence, this topic.

Then Buy the game, Or better, Buy a computer that can afford to run DoW 2's expansion. The fact that you cannot run it is your own fault.

Putting in Blood Raven's Honor Guard does get you an answer about how these answers should you paint. If you aren't capable of using your own fucking imagination, then you should not have minatures to paint. Make your own fucking colourscheme up, or just be a pussy and accept game's workshop.

In defense of Coaan, he may be thinking that if Ugolino has enough disposable income to be a WH40K Table Top dude it doesn't compute that he wouldn't for either the computer game or system.

Personally, I would have just asked the guys at the game store that I play at. Probably would have been quicker.

There's a strong possibility that he doesn't care to actually play video games, but would like to use one as a reference for his actual hobby. So for him, buying a computer capable of playing this new game wouldn't make sense. Or are we all supposed to have computers ready to play the latest and greatest video games, all the time?

Well, I would have just asked the people I game with. It's a virtual guarentee you could get the images in question. Alternatively, he could have just gone to the Relic forums(the guys who made the game) and look for one there. It just seems..off that he, (a nameless personalitywho is not an active participant of this board) would show up asking for people to go through and get screenshots for him before trying those other two options. It certainly rubbed me the wrong way that he was looking for help in all the wrong places.

That said, Coffee and I are currently on a run through Chaos rising to grab the screenshots and all...I'm not a complete cock-hat, just when there's rum involved.

It's still mildly strange that there is absolutely no google reference to the captain though...I'd have thought at least one image of him would be on the net.

That's actually taken from the loading screen involving him, so the colours are probably as close as you're going to get. To get it any sharper, I suspect you'd need to have the graphics set to ultra and then somehow persuade him to stay still.
