Spy Party (article atWired.com) is the exact kind of game I've been jonesing for for as long as I can recall.

A little more depth to this and it could be the game that I've always wanted (take Hitman, but make it way more freeform and put in human guards). This is a step in that direction and could be crazy cool all by itself.

Interesting, reminds me a bit of the concept behind the Half-Life mod (and later Source game) The Ship, too bad the few times I played it (the mod) it degenerated into a regular deathmatch.

The concept reminds me too of my favourite levels from Hitman 1 and 2 (The Hotel and The Embassy respectively) wich had you mingling with people, and had me think it would be awesome as a multiplayer game where you have to find out who the human players are. Unfortunately, I bet such a concept will have trouble with rythm, the slow gameplay is fine for a couple playthroughs, but I doubt most players would endure it for long.

I remember playing "Dueling Machine" when it came out, which apparently this game was based off of. Quite innovative. Be nice to see this novel game play mode trickle into mainstream titles like MW2 and Halo. Be quite interesting to get the fratboy-gamers using their brains.
