Rotating signature banners like darth wong

I once saw a tutorial by none other than our Darth Wong on TW forums. It explained how using php you can create your own rotating sig banner. For those who dont know a rotating sig banner lets you have multiple sig banner images. Each time a someone views your sig they see a different one. Posters like Darth Wong and Surlethe use them. Now the crazy thing is although simple using rotating sig banners requires 1) your own web host 2 ) some php knowledge. This is beyond most forum users. You cant simply google for a photobucket or imageshack site that offers this. So after I learned to create my own rotating sig I decided to give something back to the community. I decided to create a simple page on my site which would let anyone host a rotating sig. That was last year. I got busy with work and life issues and never finished it. Now I have some spare time available for next few days to work on pet projects. I would like to know one thing before resuming coding though.

Do you think you will use a rotating sig banner ? Do you think I should go ahead or is this going to be a waste of time for something none will use ?

It would be nice to know if people actually care about rotating sig banners before commiting to work.

I don't have an avatar or signature, and I have avatars and signatures turned off, so I wouldn't know if you did it or not.

I haven't changed my sig in over a year except to update the quote. So probably not.

Yes, I would use it, but unfortunately I don't have my own webhost. And I'm not sure if many other people do. That's the obstacle for me.

^^

Thats why I thought about making it. There is no reason why people have to go through so much hassle for a simple forum sig.

There are actually a few sites that offer free rotating signature hosting. For example: Clintonio.com (which in my experience, other than an extended down-time a few months back, has been pretty reliable).
