Podcasts redux - what do you listen to?

It's been a while since we've had one of these and I thought I'd refresh it as I'm looking for new things to listen to.

I'm after anything really good in the science category ever since the New Scientist podcast died.

Anyhow, here's my list as it stands, in a rough order of "must-listen-to-ness":

A Life Well Wasted - A video game culture documentary series with exceptional production values and awesome subject matter.

Giant Bombcast - Comedy gold week after week and opinions on games that I generally agree with.

Rebel FM - the spiritual successor to Games For Windows Radio/The LAN Party, a great lineup and due to it's setup has some very random "Oakland humour" at times.

Irrational Interviews and Irrational Behaviour - Shawn Elliot and Ken Levine talk higher concept matters of game development with Irrational Studios and other studios staff.

Pritzker Military Library - There's a variety of shows from the Medal of Honor series (humbling and awe inspiring), forums on various topics and interviews with authors.

Sherdog Radio Network - Mainly Beatdown and the occasional Jordan Breen show, but it depends on the guests. Always listen to the roundtables and "After The Bell" though. Really, this is a must for any MMA fan.

NPR: Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! The NPR News Quiz - A great weekly comedy quiz on (US Centric sadly) news issues.

Fear the Boot - Probably the best PnP RPG podcast out there as it handles a more "meta" aspect to gaming than just talking about a particular system.

Behind The Screened Door - A fairly new movie related podcast with a solid cast and good productions. From the same stable as Giant Bombcast at WhiskeyMedia.

Rock Paper Shotgun Electronic Wireless Show - UK based podcast with a PC gaming emphasis.

Gamespy Debriefings - Good podcast, filthy filthy humour and are generally just fun to listen to.

BBC World Service Documentary Podcasts - It's the Beeb World Service's finest pieces of journalism in podcast form. What more needs to be said?

Weekend Confirmed - Another video game podcast, this one features Garnett Lee and Jeff Kanata as regular hosts and though it's only a few eps in, it's developing well.

EA Podcast - Sure it's a corporate shill job, but it's Jeff Green and they actually have some good journalism going on during their internal interviews.

Gamers With Jobs Conference Call - Ostensibly this is about Gamers With Jobs but most of the time it's just another gaming podcast. But the cast and the topics they cover are good.

Tacklezone Radio - Brisbane based Bloodbowl podcast. Very irregular posting schedule, but really, if you're into Bloodbowl then you are used to disappointment.

Joe Rogan Experience - very variable quality and content as so much rides of just how high and how entertaining the guests are.

Geekbox - A reliable geek/video game podcast. I'm losing interest as other topics compete for attention but it's still better than most others out there in it's genre.

Google for "The skeptics guide to the universe". It's a pseudoscience debunking / science promoting podcast. I've only listened to a couple but they were solid.

I used to listen to 1up Yours back in the day but it stopped. I don't listen to anything actively, except for the odd bombcast if I'm really bored on a weekend or something.

Listen to every week (Commute? What commute?)

-Gay USA
-The Bugle
-Friday Night Comedy Podcast (The Now Show or The News Quiz)
-TWiT
-Diggnation

When I finish with those or if I'm bored I alternate with audiobooks. I've been watching/listening to Gay USA since I was in high-school, and I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekly news show focusing on gay issues. Sometimes all they're doing is reading internet and wire stories, but they're often a week or two or three ahead of other gay news outlets or major media outlets, Andy & Ann also have a great deal of anecdotes to add, and the interviews are quite good.

As for science podcasts, I've listened to Science Fridays on and off.

Thanks Anders - There's a lot of interesting podcasts on this list. Most importantly, thanks for actually explaining and describing them and not just spamming a list.

That's why I listen to Three Die Block as well ;)

I recommend "Hardcore History" - it's a great show about history that doesn't sound like some guy reading a dry textbook.
