Well, yeah if you pay any attention whatsoever to what's going on.

That's fairly slick work from a third party production. But I expected no less from the guys who brought us the top shelf Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fan film, Frozen Crossing. Here are Parts 1 and 2 of that for the uninitiated.

Those are pretty amazingly high quality (let alone for fan work). On top of that they seem to have produced them in a pretty short timeframe as well.

How the hell do things like an Uwe Boll movie with whole studios etc behind them come out so much worse than this? Maybe it was because they were deliberately bad, so to raise the bar, how does a SciFi channel movie, costing a MILLION dollars (1200 times the total combined cost of the MW films these guys made) suck so much shit?

With the faux COD the acting is cheesy and plotting cliche', but for a shoestring fanmade project it's punching well above its weight in terms of production values and is more interesting than a lot of awful TV movies.
