So Diablo 3, it's single-player WoW zoomed out and with an angled top-down view?

Hey, the skill system looks interesting. Too bad Blizzard are too dumb to port to console, though.

It's like a rogue/amazon with some assassin mixed in.

As someone who foolishly picked a Bowazon for my Diablo 2 career during the initial period where it was bugged as hell, this looks very cool.

Wizard was my favourite class up until now, with Monk being a close second. The Demon Hunter has bumped up to first place though.

Now if only they'd announce a release date.

Demon hunter feels underwhelming for me.

Now when are they going to release the game!??!?! AARRG.

Honestly, I want to try all the classes, though the witchdoctor looks meh for me.

As for release. Probably next year. Whether it's early or mid or late, who knows. I doubt it'll be early though, my guess is second half of the year. A thousand guys at Blizzcon got beta invites for it, but that doesn't tell us much unless the beta starts soon. (And how long was SC2 in beta before release?)

On the one hand, I want to play this game. On the other, I don't want them to rush things like QA testing and beta testing and working out the bugs etc.

Knowing Blizzard and their amount of "It's done when it's done" leeway I think it's safe not to worry about them rushing the game.

Too paranoid about control of the online game you mean. They won't port to console because they'd have to cede control of the network infrastructure to PSN/XBL, and they're too invested in battle.net.

That sounds pretty dumb to me.

Meh. Looks like I'll be sticking to playing a Wizard then, none of the rest of them seem interesting at all. Ah well.

They've become pretty nazi abount controlling their games since the merger with activision. Main reason why they are now leaving out lan support from their games.

On a side note, lack of LAN support is one of the two reasons I doubt I'll ever throw down money on either Starcraft II or Diablo 3.

Torchlight 2, on the other hand, will have full multiplayer. Yum.

Hopefully it'll be less bland and at integrate at least half the industry-changing ideas Diablo 3 will have, instead of being even more primitive than Diablo. Seriously guys, fucking area pickup already.
