Yes, I only play on vassal. It's really a good setup. How'd you find it now? The guy making the good module got shut down a while ago. If you pm me or something, I'll probably be up for a game to show you the ropes of vassal.

Thanks, maybe sometime in a week or two. My gaming time is pretty much filled with another game after Tuesday.

Its a boardgame simulator. Its usable to hopeless depending on the quality of the module involved.

Really, the only huge advantage I can think of (and good enough for my purposes) is that you can get a network connection so I can play with people I couldn't play with otherwise. Well, that and the dice rollers are nice in a good module, but those are rare to be a true plus rather than just nice. I'd say the 40k module is the best one I've seen. It's very well put together, and I can't honestly think of a lacking feature other than a good way to deal with buildings.

Being free is a pretty serious advantage. I play a bunch of older wargames on Vassal, because there are quality modules for it that make it way more fun than playing the cardboard chit version in 1988. I thought the 40k module went underground because of GW action?

Maybe I'm thinking of the Arkham Horror module. Man, I'd kill for that module. I'd take pictures of me next to my pile of Arkham Horror boxes. Just replacing the fucking card decks would be worth actual money for me.
