MAC: Packer software
Hi there. Does anybody know of a Zip packer for Mac that delivers good results with regards to compression? I got the problem that somebody needs one and I don't really use a Mac.

Re: MAC: Packer software
Unfortunately the available file compression software for Macs is pretty pitiful. Cnet has a list of some of the ones available, though Stuffit and the Unarchiver might do the trick. Are there any specific format types? Winrar has a mac version but it's command line only so I'm not sure how user friendly that might be for a Mac user.

Just compress the files and folder with the built-in UI tools? It'll be about as efficient as most other zip tools.Thanas wrote:Hi there. If he needs something more, there's Keka, eZ7z and 7zX, all of which support the 7-Zip format.
