Where can I buy an Omega Chess set?

I know it's not a PC game, but it's a game nonethless. I have read of this rather awesome variation on chess called Omega Chess, on a 10x10 board with four extra squares diagonally placed from the corners, and two new pieces, Champions and Wizards.

I very much would like to find a set so I can play this game. But I have had no luck after literally 2 minutes of google and amazon searching.

So, has anyone here heard of/got this type of chess and can any of those people tell me where I can get a set/board of my own?

You can play it in web and java apps by google searching. Do you really need a physical set?

I hate to say this, but www.omegachess.com will sell and ship you a set. Did you even look?

And, yes, I do want a real physical set. So i can play it without a computer.

Thank you.

Really? Number one hit, omegachess.com, offical home of Omega Chess.

To be honest I don't see why you'd bother; they haven't released decent ones and it's pretty easy to just bodge one up.

Clearly you are the better google searcher Stark. Kudos to you. Plus I was using the "shopping" bit rather than just search.

I thought it had been around for a while. If they haven't made decent sets yet I'll wait a bit and see what happens.

You say I can play it online?

A decent chess board is a junior high wood ship project. I'm amazed they don't have one for sale yet.

They do have fancy handmade ones, but at like £400 a time. I was thinking more like a plastic one for about £30

At any rate, I'm gonna wait a bit before buying anything. Too many other things I want to buy in the post-Christmas period
