Flash problems?

Hey,

So I've been noticing something going on.

My computer has been playing YouTube-based videos pretty... jerkily, is the best term, I think. Some days it's okay, other days, not so much. And with other video drivers, that I *think* are Flash-based, they'll overload the video driver on my computer and shut it down. I'm running an old Compaq laptop, windows XP home... thanks in advance for suggestions.

Update Flash, update the video driver and install the K-Lite mega codec pack. Should take care of most problems.

If it doesn't, your video card may be on its last legs or then your connection is jerky.

I'm thinking it could be the video card because the screen will freeze for a while, then black out and come back all distorted and in fucked-up colours and say "the ativtag display driver is screwed" or words to that effect. The funny thing is it only happens with the one type of video so far... I don't know what it's called, but it's the one that loads with a number counting up to 100 in the middle of the little swirly thing...

In other words, Flash. Do what I suggested and see if it helps. If not, then time to get a new video card.
