Does typing on the keyboard of my laptop, while it burns DVDs/CDs, have any adverse effect on the burning/copying process due to the vibrations of typing affecting the disc-spinning or anything leik that?

No, the DVD burner would have been built with that in mind. Dropping the laptop onto a hard surface while burning a disc would probably have bad results, but not ordinary typing.

If you're worried about it, enable the 'verify data written' in your burning tool options menu.

Just don't keep your laptop on your lap and you should be fine.
