I've never heard even a whisper of a rumor of this, the Kinetic is finicky as all hell in where you can place one in a living room as it is.
What we might here is announcements at least from Nintendo about their new unit.

If Bioware doesn't announce a release date for The Old Republic at E3 this year, chances are it'll be punted to next year for release.

I thought they have definitively said that TOR is 2012 at least.

They mentioned last year that their target window was 'Spring 2011' and they haven't said a peep about it since.

It is?

I just want to know if E3 will have Gabe Newell saying more totally quotable but incredibly stupid things. Chards? Give me some odds on this!

I'm not giving odds on that, its a losing proposition for all involved. However - because people are idiots I'll give 8 to 1 he won't say sh$) about Episode 3/ HL3

Failing that, odds his structural integrity will finally give way and he will devolve into a pile of fleshy sludge completely and on stage in front of God and everyone, to boot, i'll give 5 to 1

I think the quote that points to that was newell saying something like "Screw episodic gaming" so people have inferred that to mean no ep. 3; *shrug* who knows? At this point, I'm hoping the big valve announcement is Source 2 or something cause man....that engine is really showing it's age and given the type of game Valve does well, this is a Bad Thing. Though BioWare is getting away with putting out "new" games on Gamebryo soooooo......

World in Conflict 2...World in Conflict 2...World in Conflict 2...

For the most part i'm looking forwards to seeing Battlefield 3 and GoW 3 getting fleshed out. I want to see some real, show floor gameplay from single and multi from both of them.

Arkham City
Battlefield 3
Mass Effect 3

Should get some good details from each.

Would also like to see something on Half-Life 2 Episode 3, Tribes Ascend, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

My "wish list that has a snowballs chance in hell" includes news on a PC release for Halo and Gears of War games.

Epic deliberately didn't release Gears 2 on PC. No idea why MS doesn't port Halo, though.

It looks ridiculous. Bungie may have been terrible at a lot of things but at least they tried.

Now admittedly I may be nitpicking, but that trailer struck me as completely slapped together. Compare that half assed tripe to the far more grand Halo 3 and Halo 2 announcement trailers.

What information (if any) is there around the Halo remake? If they made Halo modern (as opposed to Reach) it could still be a competitive game.

PC sales are relatively small in comparison, less piracy, easier to code for a smaller hardware standard. Those are the usual arguments I've heard and the truth is likely some combination. I'm not thrilled with the result, but there is no point is denying reality for what it is. The game producers aren't making games for fans such as myself because I represent a smaller portion of the market.

It probably didn't help that everyone hated Gears 1 on PC when they ported it. :)

Is there a sense of the most common timeframe? I wonder if they're takling about 2012 games or 2011 games more.

That... Yeah, the port job wasn't spectacular. But the game play itself was very good. I quite enjoyed GOW1 on PC, when it worked.

Battlefield 3 is this year. But ME3, Halo 4, and plenty of other big name titles are next year. I would say anything newly announced at E3 is definitely next year. Already known material is a mix of this year and next. Yeah, that makes sense. Given production times E3 is more for show off of next years materials.

That Halo 4 trailer doesn't look too bad. The visuals are better than the Halo 2 trailer, but the music is worse. I wonder what it's like to have to follow in the footsteps of Marty O'Donnell and some truly epic music.

As for the remake, I suspect that they will retcon the new generation of weapons in (getting rid of the sniper pistol) and improve the AI and maps. Probably little extra story-wise things too, to flesh out the universe more. Don't know if they'll redo the dialogue. They may just use the old stuff and add in more things.
