wifi/bluetooth toggle on desktop?

I just got a netbook which is going to be used a lot by my parents when they go camping as a movie viewer and I wanted to know if there was a way I could make it so they can easily turn off the wifi and bluetooth to extend battery life and easily turn it back on when they will be able to use it?

Right now I squeezed 5 hours 40ish minutes of solid video playback with wifi and bluetooth cards turned on but that's with a completely new battery and it will probably go down pretty quickly.

Mine has hotkeys on the keyboard itself to control the radios, does yours?

I know that by now (or at least in my experience with Hewlett-Packard laptops) a wi-fi toggle button (separate from the keyboard) or slider is pretty standard, but I don't know if that's the case with Bluetooth for any laptops or netbooks.

Yeah, the FN F3 combo only turned the wi-fi on and off. I just ended up turning off the bluetooth for good and they use the keys to turn the wi-fi back on when they need it.

The bluetooth was a bonus feature when I picked up the netbook since I already had mouse/keyboard/speakers/headsets that ran off bluetooth and the mouse/keyboard would be handy when wiring the netbook to a T.V.

I tweaked it to get nearly 6 hours of video playback with onboard speaker sound so I'm pretty happy with the unit overall.

I think it is possible to set a manual turning on/off of wifi and bluetooth when you need them. Plus, you can save some energy turning off or optimizing some other functions of the netbook.
