Who says PC gaming is dead?

Post by weemadando »

I just saw this in a Computer store near my house. I am totally going back when they're open. It's like GoG opened a shopfront.

I want to see their pricelists though. I wonder if a Celeron 300A is under $500 yet?

Apologies for quality, but camera phone, poor light and through glass...

What's funny is when department stores have walls like that. David Jones in Brisbane still has new copies of XCOM Apocalypse.

That Dark Sun game is mine. 1993 era yo.

I want that manual.

I really REALLY want to go into that store now. I am so intrigued. What (besides XW:A) could be inhabiting the jewel cases?

I tihnk I see AVP and Dark Reign.

EDIT - speaking of AVP, have you seen the gameplay footage released for Aliens:CM? Fucking horrible, what a disppointment. Bring on Syndicate.

I still play the original AvP.

Apparently the new DS Aliens game is good. If you like ball crushing 16bit era gameplay.

Looks like the upgrade edition too, I can imagine it might take a while to move something that's only of use to masochists with 13 year old PCs running Windows 98.

Is that Shattered Steel i see, That's Bioware's first game and might be worth a pretty penny if it's in mint condition.

Wonder if they've got any 3DFX cards?

Also I broke the IT guy they other day; he was trying to get Advanced Tactical Fighters running on my machine for me, NO DICE. He's now making noises about finding parts to put together a machine to run purely DOS so we can play a fifteen year old flight sim

Why not?

If you need to run a 3DFX game then i would suggest the nGlide Wrapper - it has worked wonders for me, Even got the old I-War running at full 3DFX 1080p for me.

How much is it on sale for ? Original copies of some of the old classic games fetch a high price on internet...
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
