RIP: My trusty wireless headphones

So, for the past several years, I've rocked some
RCA WHP141 RF headphones, and I've been satisfied, I'd say with their performance (there is significant pop and hiss, no getting around that at 900MHz, the sound quality is obviously not ZOMG DOLBY 5.BILLION and they're a bit on the heavy side. On the other hand, the battery life was amazing, they're about the most comfortable headphones I've ever put my noggin into and they're apparently made out of some kind of weird space alloy to have survived as long as they did!). Anyway - Ricky finally fixed 'em for good and my keen sensibilities will not allow me to spend more than 50.00 on a replacement (actually, they work perfectly fine, he broke the part that secures the earpiece to the head...thingo. And no - there's no fixing it...I mean, I guess I could fabricate soemthing but meh, they're old and I want new ones.)
So....recommendations for cheapass me?

What are your priorities for comfort, price, sound quality etc.? I used to have the WHP141 and they're the most comfortable of any wireless set I've tried on, too. And unless Amazon has a different price for you than I'm seeing ($33), they're cheaper than any decent pair I could find last December, too. When mine broke down I got a Sennheiser set and despite all the product reviews talking about it having good quality for a cheap set they don't seem any better than my RCA set was (for the record, I used my sets for music, TV, and video games). My RCA set's charger base started to break down last fall but that was after four or five years of heavy use and I have no idea how that compares to other products or even other models of the same product.
If cost or comfort are a big priority my personal recommendation would be to just buy a replacement set of the same model.

I keep em hooked to the television for watching purposes as well as gaming. basically, it's so I can turn the TV speakers off at night so as not to disturb Ricky and Amy who are asleep upstairs.
