ARO 2012 keeps popping up on my computer.

I keep uninstalling it but somehow it keeps coming back. I've scanned my computer for viruses\malware\etc... but it comes up clean. From googling it seems to be a legit program but I have not dowloaded ARO. How can I find the source or at least block it from reinstalling?

Also, use msconfig to disable it (and any related services) from starting up.

I meant the source of the reinstallation. I've uninstalled it through the Control Panel but it later came back. I've even gone to where ARO was installed and uninstalled it from there but it still returned.

Check your Startup folder in the Start Menu.

If you completely deleted C:\Program files\ARO 2012 or whatever, and used msconfig to disable from starting up, that's one of the last places it could be.

Went there and ARO isn't in it. Now ARO tries to install when it is already installed. Annoying!

How about googling for removal instructions? That piece of shit program is malware, because no legitimate program behaves that way. You're not the first person to get hit by it and the step by step instructions (and even demonstration videos on youtube) will get you off to a good start.
