Anybody interested in a Crusader Kings II / EU IV LP?

Alright, so somebody gifted me the ahistorical murder simulator strategy game Crusader Kings II for Christmas. I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a CK II LP in the tradition of previous LPs on this board?
And if so, what would be the nation of choice among:
a) Byzantine
b) Venice
c) HRE
and if so, would it be more "fun" for all involved to start from the bottom or go right in as Emperor?

I would love a LP, best right from the bottom, the early game is the most fun.
Byzantine would be nice, trying to spread proper civilization across Eurasia...

I'd definitely be interested. I'd probably vote for Venice, but only because I haven't done anything much in that part of the world - any of the options would be fun.

Of those three any will do, but I'd like to cast my vote for a from the bottom on up start. Of course if there was an option D in the list I'd love to see what you could do with the Danes or Swedes.

Byzantium all the way. Those guys knew the proper way to treat a colour.

Byzantium or Venice, I'd say. Best to start from the bottom, more interesting that way.

Alright so it will be Byzantium, single county, probably starting somewhere between 750-1100. Anybody have any preferences for a general playstyle or something else before I set it up?
I would prefer to play as historical as possible. But further than that:
- be loyal or a Peter Balish?
- marrying outside or inside the empire?
- marrying for traits or status? (the former would be more historical but might result in inbred losers)
- how gamey should this be? (I would probably say not at all. No taking a Byzantine fleet and invading England, for example. OTOH, close enemies of the empire would be fair game).
Starting location? Options are:
- Sicily/lower Italy. Enemies all around, trying to hold the last Byzantine vestiges of power in Italia.
- One of the Islands like Corfu or (divide) Cyprus
- Greece (no direct enemies so it would be mainly intrigue)
- Anatolia (ditto but more boring)
EDIT:

Would Ματθαιος (Matt(h)aios) work?

CK2 is long overdue for a LP.
Hopefully your pack has the Legacy of Rome Expansion. Adds some interesting elements for the BE once you make that inevitable ascent to emperor. I'd say definitely be a Balish overall unless you want to be a count your entire dynasty
. If you're looking for some RP aspect, each ruler is going to have specific traits that you could try to be true to. For example, if your current ruler happens to be Zealous you could be more inclined to participate in holy wars. If you're character is honest/kind you'll be less inclined to assassinate/imprison, etc.
Sicily seems like the best place as you can build your power through military conquest in addition to political intrigue.
I am curious however, as to what you mean by trying to play as historical as possible? It seems like the whole point of the game is to throw history out the window once you hit "start".

Basically, not being too gamey. For example, from my playthroughs it is ridiculously easy to conquer Crimea/Ukraine and turn it into a powerhouse, same with Scandinavia. This would not happen as Byzantium. I would also not do stuff like attack Egypt without first having secured the Levant for logistics.
Also, no abuse of the claimant system. For example, currently it is quite easy to take over entire realms by just inviting a claimant, giving him a plot of land and then pressing his claim. I would only do so if one of my already exisiting vassals had a claim.
EDIT: Oh and I got all expansion packs.

Constantine V would be rather interesting. Dealing with a potentially powerful Francia can give us some rather interesting stories.

Baelish. Pure ambition, no loyalty to anyone but ourselves.
- marrying for traits or status? (the former would be more historical but might result in inbred losers)
Let's avoid inbreeding.
- how gamey should this be? (I would probably say not at all. No taking a Byzantine fleet and invading England, for example. OTOH, close enemies of the empire would be fair game).
Let's stay fairly historical, securing the eastern territories or retaking Italy seem like fairly good ambitions.
Starting location? Options are:
I vote Italy or Sicily.

Baelish. No status marriages.
For everything else, I'd say that we should at least reconquer Italia & Urbi, and then do whatever necessary to reform the Empire as it was and should be. Either from Sicily or from Greece (which would be more realistic, imho)

While I agree on remaining fairly historically accurate (like invading the UK) IMO it'd be rather boring to watch if all you do is execute some flawless strategy and effortlessly conquer whatever area you choose as your objective.
Maybe you could role-play your character traits to spice things up a bit. For example, if your character is a mean backstabbing religious zealot, you could act accordingly around everyone. Of course, this would include the way you treat ur kids. And yes, it won't be the most efficient way to go about doing things, but IMO it'd be far more entertaining.
EDIT: Of course, being loyal to no one but yourself could be highly entertaining as well... you could be the type that would throw grandma off the cliff if you thought it'd gain u a few bucks. hmmm.....

Unless he happens to be born Norman, I guess.
