Steam Streaming

I finally had a chance to really play with this. My old i7 was collecting dust, so I popped my 970 into it and set it up in front of the TV. My wife has one of those HP all-in-one PCs (I tried to talk her out of it, but no dice) that is more than a few years old. The CPU could hold up, but the 8 year-old Intel GPU can't hang with Conan Exiles. We're talking "Low end Laptop mode" or it was 20FPS with everything on "Low."
So, I logged her in on the i7, then logged her in on her PC, and clicked "Stream" on Conan Exiles.
It's pretty solid. 1080p, the graphics transfer is near perfect, no tearing or artifacts. No control latency. I have to say, I'm fairly impressed. The Hosting PC actually DOES run the game, on the screen, and will accept inputs from the Host PC... so I guess I could troll my wife. The aging i7 is actually a bottleneck here. At some point in the future, if we can pay a few things off, my current PC might be retired to the streaming computer (1080p on pretty much anything is a cake-walk) and she can use it for her gaming both on the TV and in her room.
I also have to say it's nice the new Xbone controller are bluetooth. I just need a controller for the old PC. Mine has it built it.
Anyone else have any experience or stories? I'm still considering picking up a cheap Steam Box at some point.
