So, whats your name, and where are you from?

Me, I'm Anders and I'm from Vault 13. Its nice there. But a bit dry of recent.

I'm your friendly neighbourhood Lagmonster. I can't play anymore without a trainer so that I can go through the whole game from the start with all the hidden weapons and items and a character that God himself couldn't smite.

I loved my Brotherhood of Steel main character.

HtH combat specialist. I mean, Bruce Lee had nothing on this bloke. 3 Deathclaws in HtH? No problem. Its all rather insane.

I'm Ghost...and in one crazed Fallout 2 run I made a character that it didn't matter what combat...he could kill by spitting at you(believe me...around level 79 I knew something was wrong)

I'm usually a character that goes for finesse over brute force. I have other people to break out the big guns

I often use the Gauss Pistol as I can get a good deal of hits off very accurately.

Fallout is the greatest RPG ever created by a LONG distance.

I was always a quick shot plasma rifle type of guy myself. Nothing like the smell of char broiled mutants in the morning.

I always liked Bloody Mess.

But miniguns suck. No range at all. Give me a magnum to hit from across teh map, with about 5 shots before I use my extra movement pips to walk behind hard cover.

Both of my Fallout 1 characters were suckers for the Brotherhood Armor and the modified Plasma Rifle. Tonberi went through most of the game with just the Leather jacket untill he ran across the BoS, and he stuck with a multitude of weapons (combat shotgun, the AK, the SMG, and ustually 1-2 more) untill finally picking up one of those energy miniguns and then finally a plasma rifle halfway through the miliatry base.

Damn, he kicked ass with that gun.

My second character was a bit less combat-oriented. She just stuck with her handy .223 modified-rifle pistol and a select few skills. But of course she got the BoS armor and enough cash to buy a plasma rifle ASAP. Now she lets the gun do the negotiating.

I still need to get through the last 2 areas. My only beef with Fallout is it's too short. I ought to play more of Fallout 2 over the summer, or just start with a new game (I found Vault City, but it's been pretty useless for my needs).

Actually VC can be good for a lot of looting(need high steal but the guy in front is a treasure trove...the Merchant next to the doctor...though it varies at times...he carries massive loot, other time zilch, reloading does help though)

I'm Keevan, I carry a small arsnenel, usually favouring P-90's paired and a Pancor Jackhammer....usually with a magnum for backup....

I'm Coaan and when the bozar I carry won't tear you apart...I've explosives to do the rest of the job

Not when I'm getting eyeshots from 50 tiles away with the Gauss Rifle

That was my favourite pistol until I got the Gauss Pistol. The Pulse Pistol is fun, too.

Damn you all, now I just have to dig up my old Fallout2 cd and install it.

Another massive impairment on my free time.

I'm sitting outside of Vault 5 (If that's the one that's guarded.) right now with a character who has never fired a weapon, has no NPCs, and is wearing advanced power armour. I should be able to finish the game without firing a single shot if I can collect enough super stimpacks to kill the oil rig's president with them.
