Any one know where is a good place to get a Dreamcast at a pretty good price? I'm just wondering. All the one's I've found are over priced and/or missing stuff. I want to find one and Soulcalibur.
So any one know where to look?

Toy's R Us sells them usually in bins(practically) for around$40.
One of the better places is usually import game stores(though they will sell you the chipped version/playing imports) for around $60
I'd avoid gamestores since they sell used at around $50...and seriously they are some beat up things.

Try Ebay. People tend to offload entire sets including games. Other than that, I'd go to Electronics Boutique if you want a good used system. Sure, you'll pay more, but you'll know that the system is in top condition.
As for buying it new, hell if I know. Only place around here I could get one new is EB if you're lucky and the 'token video game store' that each city on earth usually has a small chain of.

Yeah. The problem is they tend to be at jacked up prices and questionable quality. Might be good for the games though.

The EB's a I frequent don't usually have them. I'll at least check it out. Of course, I'm broke now any way. But should be getting a high paying job this summer.

Actually they're new.
It's just overstock they don't know what to do with.
It's how I got my replacement Saturn when those were dying(for around $25)

Hmmm, I'll check that out. I'm not sure if they have them at my Toys R Us but it's worth a shot.

I'm not going to another country to get a dreamcast. A little pricy for me.

Unless you're willing to act as a middle man for me that's not going to do me much good.

You may also wish to note that many American Dreamcasts manufactured after October 2000 (date of manufacture is on the bottom of the unit) have additional copy-protection -- it's strong enough that neither the Game Shark nor the Code Breaker work (being unlicensed and printed on CD-ROMs instead of Sega-approved GD-ROMs). Also, you can't region spoof non-American games into running (like I did with my imported European Shenmue 2) for those units. If either applies, it's another thing to look out for.

I'm mostly buying it to feed my growing SoulCalibur addiction.
