You want addicting? I'll show you addicting...

Signmaker wrote:SignMaker
This Java applet formats freeway signs for you. You provide the route numbers, town names, exits, and your choice of arrows - and SignMaker draws a sign for you. Since SignMaker uses the authentic "freeway font" (FHWA E(M)), provides over 40 route markers to choose from, and mounts the sign on metal supports against a blue sky, the effect is quite realistic.
Now doesn't that sound like something to while away an afternoon.....?
I'm such a dork.

I don't know about addictive, but somepeople have told me this is really hard. I think the balls have a pattern of some sort, so I'm just posting what I got the first time I played it(once I got used to the feel of it), 58 before I lost a point.

What's wrong with them? 666 and 495 are both valid numbers for loops off a major interstate (I-66 and I-95) respectively. There's nothing saying one couldn't cross the other. Of course, in real life, 66 and 95 don't run anywhere near each other, but in real life, Stardestroyer.net doesn't have its own exit on the interstate, either.[/nerd]

My fellow Long Island (and maybe even NYC) denizens would probably get the joke. 495 is the number of the Long Island Expressway...and can sometimes be the Highway to Hell.

Ahhhhhhhh...I knew there was a 495 up there, but I'm not familiar with NYC traffic conditions, save a vague idea that it's pretty much horrible all the time.
Our hellish highway would be I-76 during rush hour. Or off-peak hours. Or when there's an accident. Or it's raining. Or it's a nice day. Or a bird farts sideways. You get the idea.

NYC and points east. It gets real ugly during rush hour...despite the fact that the Northern State Parkway runs parallel to it and intersects at several points.

That seems a lot like that flash thing I was talking about the other day. Which there was some helacious AI and fucking wicked controls. The dude could aim up and down. If he was close he slashed. He could drop on someone's head and fuck em up from above. Then the FBI agents fucking roll in and duck. Some jump at you. If I had a controller, it would have been hella sweet. I stopped at the robot, which was way to cheap. A huge beam that hit up then down, but you had no escape really to me from it. Then when he runs, he's hard to dodge. Other than that, it's pretty fucking sound. Lot of hard work I can tell.

Wow, that game's awesome. The robot's not that hard, Cal...you can jump up onto the ledge on that building, where you can escape his beam and his running.
The thing that sucks is that even after you get pretty far into it, once you get a game over, you have to start at the beginning (obviously).

I-35 is weird because it splits into 35E and 35W at several points along its length from Duluth to (I believe) Dallas-Ft. Worth.
