Yeah, I'm still like that with my Dreamcast version, and that's just single-player.
Of course, it's not as much for getting to the next level, I'm busting my ass trying to get my hands on a Chainsaw'd or some of the other really cool hidden weapons.

Only too true.
I have the
DC Ver1
DC Ver2
GC PSO1+2
Played the X-Box only to see it has nothing the GC doesn't already have and still has the duping problem.
The only thing they improved from DC to GC is balance issues(no longer have to be 170+ to be Dark Falz on Ultimate)

Yeah... it takes too much dedication to get anything cool in that game ;_;

My beef is the whole ID bullshit...I would need 8 characters...to get a shot at everything and then still have to do Online quest.
Saddest part the Forces are the best, and almost sickeningly so in Ultimate Mode(HP sucks but the fact I can kill anything or hurt it versus doing 50 on a 3000 HP creature...urgh)

Forces are cool... but there are some cool weapons as welll... basically you want one FOmarl and one HUmarl hehe

Well can't get a HuMarl(only Humar and Hunewearal)
And eh prefer the Fomar(got to 121 and beat Dark Falz with him)
Problem is that the GC brought in one eh class(the android girl...is.......eh), and two decent(the Fomar is okay but relies sadly more one piss poor physical) and the RaMarl( which relies on techs.....oi)
Seriously for Forces the Fonewral is the best...only because hse has an endless font of magic or the HuNewearal(because of the ability to use 20th level tech and decent fighting...and the only other person aside from the forces to use Jellen, Zalure, Deband, and Shifta...god that was so pissant they took those away from the male classes.).
The game takes such a divergent shift in Ultimate...literally from doing awesome, to basically you're on a whole new ladder and getting ass handed to you. I mean weapons are cool, but Dark Falz just is way too much defense and pretty much magic is the only thing that kills that final form(30 sec invulnerability and 13,000 HP....fuck you game)

That game deffinitly does a really good job at pissing you off

Only because I can't use another class offline without needing an enormous boost.
But pfft, beat the game on Ultimate both Ep1 and Ep2.

I got bored around 46, then picked it up to about 70. I'd be playing it again now if I wasn't too busy with Xenosaga and Ring of Red.

Most I've ever done was 179(HuMar for DC ver2)
For GC all I did was level 121 for FoMar.

I just got the GCN version about a month ago and have a Formarl at Lv. 31 and a Hucaseal at Lv. 19.
I have a question, how do you get an extra slot to load those modifiers Marksman/Arm, Priest/Mind, and whatever other mods there are?

Two ways...either Online and buy them in the Secret Shop(an online only quest) for 1 Photon Drop.
Or earn the thing by rummaging through boxes...or getting a 4-slotted armor(which is the best thing since it's the max there is)
The saddest part is truly unique armors need to get slotted...which can be a pain at times...since a good Ultimate 4-slot can better then most...then again they took away State/Maintinence(little fuckers...yeah but hey Duping is easy and avaliable
)
Either way so you're either online...or you're doing a lot of hunting.

how do you setup the GCN for online play when you have a modem connection thru your computer. Which adapter to use?

Get the regular modem adaptor(they have two..one for BB, another for 56K)...and they have relativly simple set-up procedure(and you paying 8.95 a month).

I find the whole ID system to be very annoying too.

I can see why Forces are good. You can stand off at a distance and cast really powerful techs against foes. I love using Rafoie, then again I always prefer fire-based attacks over the others.

Its good to be a force, because if your game bugs ( which mine does ) It can delete your items and your mag ( which has happened to me twice ) and you still have your spells.

I personally haven't experienced any bugs in the game. Are there any other classes that you all like. HUcaseal is one of my favorites.
