Being EVIL in a game

So, what stuff have you done in a video game that you couldn't do in real life, whether it's shoot people in grand theft auto 3, or be a bunch of bad ass reds in ultima online, robbing people by the road would be cool too. My brother was playing GTA3, and shot some people, then when the paramedics came, he shot them too.

I would consider the nuclear holocausts I routinely unleash in Civilization II to be quite evil, as well as the subsequent devastation of the ruined cities.

State of Emergency, killing people is one thing, 200 in under five minutes without high explosives is quite a task.

Massive devastation in all GTA games.

And of course Mutant League fOotball. Where i would more games by killing off the other teams roster than by final score.

GTA : killing hookers after they pleasure you.
Mudgik : Killing any shamless newbie the second they came onto the mud hundreds of times
Unreal : Singling out a friend in multiplayer
Doom 2 : Telefragging in co-op

Nuking every single major city in the world with ICBMs in the Superpower demo...

Killing incapacitated soldiers in Firearms...

Smiting random bystanders in Baldur's Gate 2...

Steal wantonly as a Knight in Morrowind...

Loading up with ammo, finding a sheltered position, and blowing up or shooting anything that moves in GTA III up to and including police helicopters.

Unprovoked preepemptive nuclear strikes against entire continents in Civ II.

I like gathering up my whole team and several hostages in Rough Spear, then I kill them all. I also often make a sport of killing my own side in Operation Flash point, with a goal of seeing how many I can gun down before they manage to get me.

Green "Nuking" in Call To Power "It's just a harmless VW bus...."

Temunjin by Koei, Driving my enemies before me, taking their horses, their land, and boinking their daughters and then having them executed *The rival Mongol Lords, not the Harem*

Playing C&C as Nod "Always"

Using Stellar Engineering vessels in SE IV "Vogon Fleet here, Pardon our space dust..."

I wouldn't say its necessarily evil, but as Stravo can confirm I often run around in Day of Defeat with live grenades, running up next to the nearest enemy soldier and waiting for the fuse to run out. This often doesn't work out as planned however, and many teammates have learned to not stand near me.

Making peace treaty with a race in MOO2 right before I launch a multi-doom star fleet into their space with the express purpose of interstellar genocide

Killing over one billion people with a Planet Buster in Alpha Centauri, and pissing off a bunch of rabid enviromentalists.
Repeat with total planetary destruction in MoO3.

Edit: Fixed some typos

I send a group of AT-ATs in Galactic Battlegrounds to shoot one lone animal that keeps nipping at my workers. Then I proceed to level anything else around. Heh.

GTA3 is probably going to get the most response in this thread. When someone cuts me off, (just like real life, assholes) I chase them down, cut em off and jump out. Then at point blank range I scope in with the sniper rifle. BAM!

What? No one has mentioned Fallout 2 yet! The last time I finished the game, I created myself an intelligent character who is a good speaker, but also knows small arms very well. I blackmailed, assasinated, enslaved, pickpocketed, lied, created a small scale genocide of the Ghoul population in Gecko by "tweaking" their nuclear reactor, acted in the porn business, slaughtered the intelligent Deathclaws in Vault 13 because they didn't let me in, and betrayed my friends, to name a few things. Unlike many other games, Fallouts let you play as a truly evil character (and I don't mean going simply postal - that's not fun!) and it occasionally rewards you even better if you choose the "evil" way to do the things.

Just to add that when I was working for one mafia family (in Fallout 2 that is!) in New Reno, I got the job where you have to locate a fellow called Lloyd and make sure he pays the debt and suffers after this. He had hidden the money to a grave, so I forced him to start digging: "You see, in this world there's two kinds of people. Those with loaded guns and those who dig."

Naturally my dear friend Lloyd was happy to acknowledge. Some time later he was standing a deep hole. I told him to first give me the box containing the money, then I dropped a him a little present - a grenade. Before returning to my boss, I grabbed Lloyd's shovel and went for graverobbing.

Fantastic game!

I rule at dk1. I am invincible. I eventually could beat the entire game in 3 days.

I started a nuke war in civ.
in starcraft and tiberian sun, I apply the russian cannon fodder approach.
I routinely annhilate solar systems in se3.
I kill people/buildings and ignore the race in pretty much every car game.

fun times.

Its more sporting to use a light tank and time your kills.

You people are scary.

And since I don't recall there being a single civilian in either Dungeon Keeper, what evil was there to do? I admit using a door as a weapon is nasty, but since you're using it on the monsters...

EDIT:Disregard!!! I was thinking of DungeonMASTER 1 & 2.

DM1 fun factoid:Throwing things at the enemy to increase your Ninja level can result in kills from the most interesting objects.[/b]

LOL! I sometimes do the same thing in MoH, if there are enough enemy to make it worthwhile...

Using a mod in jedi knight to

choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then choke then heal then heal then chop the head off a disarmed imperial officer and some civillian technicians.

For about half an hour, while cackling manically.

Using civillians as human sheilds in the same game

Recoding the game to allow me to teleport people into walls in the same game.

Oh yes, and annihalating the entire galaxy with a fleet of death stars in Rebellion/supremacy. (damm that makes you unpopular)

Shooting my team mates in the back in multiplayer games.

Terror forming in AC (you surround them, then lower land until they're trapped at sea, particularly funny if they don't have sea travel tech. You can also raise mountains to change their climate) Going singularity nuke happy and wiping continents from the face of the planet.

Destroying crops, roads, infastructure in general, and nuking an entire continent in civ II

'accidentally' attacking my computer allies in dark reign. With superweapons.

And yes, you can be evil in Dungeon keeper, you can beat your own minions to death if they fail you, or have them tortured. Or turn them into chickens.

Exterminating species/civillisations because of refusal to trade with me and/or give me things for no reason and/or because they are of no use to me.

And many more despicable acts of heinous sadism.
Now you know why C'tan are considered evil.
