I'm begining to hate gamers.

I really am begining to hate a large portion of the gaming comunity. Despite the asswipes on most multiplayer, there are also some stupid ones that makes me cry to think they came from the same learning system I did. I've seen them comment that WCIII was ripping off the Pheonix from Age of Mythology, not the concept, the name and discription. And evenr worse that the Mandrake in Castlevania was a refernce to Hary Potter and the Chamber of secrets.

And these people are able to even pretend to operate a computer?

Oi... worse than a lot of DoD games I play in:
(over voice chat)
"OK, I got the Allied sniper rifle!"
"No, use the Axis one!"
"Ack... guy in that window, using the German rifle."
Would it kill you to learn the names of the guns in the game you've been playing for at least a year?

Losers.
"The Allied one"
what the fuck?
Losers.

After being on Gfaqs(and sadly it's the higher end of gaming boards...some boards are truly lower then I care to ever go back to) long enough you get the same realization...most gamers are petulant 13 year old brats who try to pigeon hole themslves as gods because their balls haven't dropped and they need a clique to belong to.
I've ran into some that are actually human, but then again they aren't 13-15 year old asswipes(Ah PSO...how they either scream cheater or some shit because I made a good charatcer).

In BF1942, some guy in a sub actually bothered to line himself up under me and surface and carried me to a carrier after the landing craft I was pirating in sank.
In another game, I was confronted by someone in a "team killing clan" and he chased me in a P-51 while I was in a landing craft. Dick.
Generally, I've found many people of the non-arse people like the sub guy.

Yeah, BF1942 is pretty extreme. Either someone is pretty good, helpful, and team-oriented, or he's a complete dumbass dipshit who gets pleasure out of beaching your team's battleship.

In DoD, some idiot suddenly started firing his MG, and killed half of my team... Then there was a huge civil war after that, so I left.
Err, I'm one of those nasty backstabbers in Starcraft, or was when I used to play...
What I really have is being labled a hacker/cheater. Or people who play in TFC and think that headshots from a sniper rifle don't do extra damage

I'm sort of both. In a big tank-oriented mission, I usually tag along in a jeep and repair friendlies when possible. Ditto for most of the Pacific campaign but on ships (which I'm playing religiously right now). But sometimes I just gotta take that jeep alone with a bazooka and rocket the enemy airfield without any intentional support.

Alright, its official. I'm sick to fucking death of everyone refering to the Mauser 98K as the "kar". In text this is almost understandable, but there was a guy today saying it over voice chat! I mean, Jesus, what the fuck. The guy was repeatedly talking about how he "got a kar" or "lost his kar". I kept telling him that I didn't think there were too many cars on WWII wilderness/rural battlefields. Goddamn. Its a Mauser. Jesus.

I ceased playing people I don't know online a while ago.

Damn it! I'm not hacking, you freaks! It's called a build order! Build-or-der! You know, NOT building 5000 photon cannons around your base?

I've played the newest Rainbow Six game "Raven Shield" online for sometime now, and I have to admit that it has probably the nicest and most rational online community I have ever had pleasure to experience. I usually play on couple co-op Terrorist Hunt servers, though, so I have no idea how things work elsewhere.
Today, I was playing with a friend on a terrorist hunt server with 40 tangos (maximum number) all set to elite. Server admin had locked smoke grenades and heartbeat sensors so we could not use any wussy stuff. There were six other players, one Finn, four Germans and one Belgian. At first we were getting our asses kicked, no matter what we did, and this continued for about an hour.
After this we decided to get organised and divided into three teams, each with their own routes. With the exception of me and my friend, none of us knew each other before. Amazingly, no one argued or whined about this. Everyone encouraged and covered each other. No one went apeshit when accidental TKilling occured. We played like this for three hours until we finally managed to finish the map.
Co-operation was perfect, just like in any top-class clan game. And this was on a public server... This game restored my faith in the future online gaming.

Wow, nice. IMO, Kohan had a very solid online community as well. My first multiplayer game, my teammates tried to help me out and were friendly despite my n00bness. I died pretty quickly anyways, but still

It was.
On the way he even killed the sub that sank my landing craft.

No, you need 512 megs of RAM... And a good processor and video card to boot.
Bleh, I'd get it if my comp could support it...

Anyone ever have to play with "get out, n00b" assholes on a server? I play Freelancer (space combat/trading sim) and while online, someone sends me a private message of which content is simply "leave."
Jerkoff4U:leave
Me:?
Jerkoff4U:Either you leave or help me get rid of these level 1 noobs
Me: Why?
Jerkoff4U:i've been trying to get my char on for the past hour
(he's like the highest level or something)
Me:dude, you don't own the fucking server
(Then he logged out/crashed)
Then another time I mentioned on the system chat that I was using a 56k to play and one guys all saying I should be banned because of it and shit. What a dick.
So is this a relavtively common problem?
Personally I like MUDs. Usually they have rules to stop people from being pricks.

Ah, yes, the n00b/connection bitchers. Assfuckers. When I was on 56K I got bitched at quite a bit. Starcraft = n00b hell. If you vaguely resemble a n00b on battle.net, you'll be kicked/banned from nearly every game you join. Sheesh.

I used to play AVP2 a lot online, before Cable internet was widespread, it was good, then one day seemingly everyone got Cable and got bitched at for entering a game, all the others were just called "No 56K's".

Collectivly...people are stupid...and this only grows with each asshole added to the pack....when you've thousands of asshats on various communities...what's the level of moronic behaviour going to be at?...pretty high...
basically all you need to do to shut these fuckers up is tan their hides in whatever game your in at the time.....if generals...break the alliance and crush them...if freelancer...turn and issue some 'friendly fire'....making sure to say your not very good at all when you finish vapin' them...
pisses people off no end...

I hate the people who run "No Dial-up" servers, or have those policies. Its not my fucking problem that I don't have daddies broadband connection to play with...

I live in the Wilderness, It took me 11 trys just to get the last UPDATE from blizzard/battle.net, I scooted around on my old account right after I got LOD and I was getting bitched at for having a slow connection. (Well fuck, you, you don't have "Eye Candy" like me in real life.
Oh speaking of "Eye Candy" the Aussies have arrived for the summer (or your winter) mountian climbing shit, mmm, nice curvy tough Hiker/Climber chicks crashing employee parties...
