Damn fun game. I'm going to be looking into Devnull, P&N, or Proportions for my next game. Oh, if only the Art of War mod were done...

haven't in a while. just lack of time. but I've got gold. I'm waiting for the B5 mod to go back to playing full-time; that's looking really good.

What I'd like to see is a moddable space empires type game with a truly customizable AI, one where you could sit back and watch the computer play off against itself, basically.

You buy the game online there. You can't buy it in stores, because it's a small-name publisher that can't afford shelf-space in the stores.

A friend of mine had it on a demo cd.

I did a quick Google search and found the demo here. It lets you play for 100 turns and dosent have all the things.

Also, how does SE4 compare to more recent 4X games like Galactic Civilizations (heh) or Starships Unlimited? Should I just wait for SE5?

whats the game play like? Is it like MoO2, Pax Imperia or Reach for the Stars? I'm interested but I don't like blind decisions.
