The door to Central Speaker Sheppard's office banged open
and in walked Space Marshall I.V. Shakanov.

"Ah, Marshall, how's it going?" asked Sheppard.

Without a further word, the Marshall slammed down a sheaf of
papers showing the design work that Factory 491 had done on the
"Admiral Isachenkov", the Soviet Union's first space-going combat
starship.

"What, only one fucking gun on something 150,000 tons? To the gulag
with the designers!"

Heh heh... but the gun wieghs 40,000 tons

Sheppard grumbled. "Reassign the 'Isachenkov' to Factory 612, they've
given us our first true mass produced starship - and tell the director I want
a workable design by next month or else."

Shakanov nodded.

"Off that, the Red Army is being built up in preparation of the invasion of
the Texrak Hedgemony's home planet - They haven't spread as far as we
have yet - they seem to have a societal impulse to stay within their home
system."

"How sad for them and how fortunate for us." replied Sheppard.

"When will the Savo IV military outpost be ready to refuel our
starships for the Texrak campaign?"

"Within six months, we shall have the capability to repair and resupply
our ships virtually on their homeworld's doorstep."

"Good, good. Be gone, I wish to meditate."

With that, Shakanov saluted and walked out of the Central Speaker's
office on the USSR's homeworld of Soyuz.

Stardate 2401.3

[Next Month]

"Sir, the designers from Factory 612 are here." squawked the
box on Sheppard's desk.

"Send them in."

Several nervous scientists, led by the chief designer of Factory 612
entered.

"What progress have you made on the 'Isachenov'? I trust it
is satisfactory..."

The head scientist nodded nervously. "Yes, we have. We have kept
the specification of a 4 space unit maximum speed, while carrying
double the armament of the Factory 491 project."

"Excellent, Excellent. Cancel all mass production of the
'Parishskaya Kommuna' Colony Ships. Keep the last one
in production in the yards - we'll use her as a troop ship to
conquer those alien rabble for the glory of the Motherland."

a level 1 starship displaces 150 kilotons of water.
The Engines and controls take up 90 kilo tons
leaving 60 kts for fuel and weapons
The smallest weapon takes up 30kts. now you get it?

This AAR has been stopped due to problems with my special mod of SE IV...

the problems have been fixed, and I shall restart (and fix the AI build
designs)
