Simply buy a $20 dollar DVD cleaning disc and play it in your PS-2, and
before that, make sure that the vents in the rear are clean and protected
from dust.
That will solve 4 out of 5 Disc Read Error problems with PS2s...even though
sony does not approve of this practice...
Mods, you might want to stickyfy this, as I managed to fix our PS2 with this
method...
