FUCK! One of my friends has a Shadowlands deck, if you can't cripple it in the first 2 turns then it wins. It will always win. I hate it. Hate it with every bone in my body. Even my Crab Speed Mil deck doesn't stand a chance.

I got enough cards to make two entire new decks. He even gave me a couple of strongholds (e.g. The Spawning Ground, Kyuden Hitomi, The Dark Path of Shadow, and (rather uselessly) The Towers of the Yogo). I don't have any scorpion cards, which kinda sucks. Hantei the 38th will be going into my Lion deck. Oddly enough, most of the personalities I got were Lions, which will have the net result of a rather stronger Lion deck. Eh...

Well, Lion is my main deck. I haven't played for ages, once I graduate, move houses and become unemployed I'll pull out my cards and try and speed up my Lion deck.

I just bought a Lion and a Phoenix deck in the Heaven and Earth Expansion, and neither of them came legal... *sigh* one of them came with a duplicate event and the other had a duplicate unique personality.

For some strange reason, I immediately thought of the British rescue submersible L5... :P

also has two current PnP Rpgs for it. I think there is possibly a third older one.

There's two editions of the RPG using a special system, and then there's a campaign setting for D&D 3e.

The best CCG ever. It was (is) based on Japanese mythology and it's all Samurai and honor and magic and badassness. And since there's so many ways to win* the strategy is really deep.:D

*Five, I think? Let's see... Millitary, Honor, Enlightenment, Walls, Dishonoring opponent... am I forgetting any? Ooh, Black Scrolls, I think, but no one does that. Not that many do walls...

I take it that by enlightenment you are referring to getting the 5 rings in play.

Dishonor is really just a speciallized version of military.

Hell no. Dishonour is a specialisation in and of itself. It can be *combined* with military, but its excellent by itself.

Military is eliminating the others from the game... Dishonor is a way to do that... Kinda interesting to see someone win a kinda big game by dishonor. He managed to dishonor two other players out of the game...

Well a Scorpion/Ninja honour/dishonour deck is very good at what it does, but its NOT a military deck.

Military implies using force to conquer provinces and victory in that manner.

The Phoenix can also set up some nasty dishonor combos, though they do need to import a couple Scorpions to be really effective.

The best deck ever, though, is the "Lesser Oni Honor Explosion."

WHAT THE FUCK? How can you have Oni in play and still be going for an honour win? Unless you're using Crab with Crab Oni and Ogre Bushi... Mmm... Sledgehammer military might.
