Whatever Happened to Dolphin?

I remmember egarly awaiting Dolphin a while back, and heard vague rumours saying it was either a compilation of all the old Nintendo systems or just a really good system, and then I heard it got stopped. What Happened?

No, they have code names also... PS2 was called something like "bluecell" for a long time i think and PS3 has one, will have to find it.
