I have no idea about that. I know there are cracks that can let you play the game without the cd but i wouldn't have any idea where to find them

I just got one question how much space does it waste and does it make the game really really slow?? because if it does then there is no point in me doing that now is there??

Why not buy a CD repair kit? Worked wonders for my J-O CD.

When I saw this thread, I figured youd just found out how short Blue Shift is.

I still need to try that, but NS is sucking all my free time right now.

Blue Shift was short but I liked it namely because of the way it fit into the whole HL story line.
I took a look at NS and I do not like it just to Alines like for me.

It will waste the same amount of space your CD is, however the game will have very small loading times, because it's not working through a CD.

Ah yes Quake. I've never seen an engine that could render the color brown in so many different shades. Hehe.

Quake is pretty crappy if you ask me. But the X-Men TC did make it a lot more fun. And it innovated in so many ways - blue walls, colorful characters... did I mention the blue walls?

I love the quake engine. It's very modular and can produce some great graphics.....just not in Quake. The designers should just continue to license it and leave game making to other companies. That said, I miss the old Quake2 days.
