Or own it? I feel so lonely in their vacant servers. :(

I play Interstate '76. I didn't get '82 because I read in the reviews that it was shit. One of the things I like most about I76 is that the intro video mentions my birthday, which is 3 of July of 1976, which coincidentally is the same day as the anniversary of this board. BTW the b-day party was neat, if you wanna know. Another interesting coincidence is that it was also a week ago.

How could you take a great game like Interstate 76 and fuck it up so badly like Interstate 82 did?

I don't think it's THAT bad...all I miss is the componant damage system.

cmon man. i have one of the main chatacters handle and his car!! Stampede's car looks to be a '68, but mine is a '66. looks a lot better though. i play '76 and have '82 but never play it. i still tell people the I76 is one of the most bad ass auto combat games around. if you ever wanna go a few in 76, lemme know. NO MODS. i fucking hate all of the damn mods that people use.

ive finished it before. dont remember much. all i remember is the 'cuda crashing through a building...hehehehehehe. get the nitro pack. it plays out the events leading up to right before jade's death. plus the opening sequence is awesome. i wanna recreate that one. dont think my girl could make the jump though.

and for the record, the only thing i actually liked from 82 from what i had played of it is the opening sequence.

The game is incredibly easy if you know how to disable cars instead of blowing them up. By the time choppers appeared I already had a .50 cal turret (the best gun in the game, all "cannons" are shit) or the "firerite" turret. With these, helicopters become swiss cheese in no time.

The first chopper tho, all you have to do is drive very close to the mountains until the chopper crashes.

hmmm actually i thought interstate '82 was a fairly solid game, though i felt deprived in certain respects to a good car game that involved duking it out...they all have their flaws, but hey its either interstate '82 or mario kart...LOL anyways just my input

I've played both '76 (up to last level) and '82. '82 is okay but I didn't like the final boss. Ronald Reagan as the final boss???
