My monitor just turned yellow/green for no apparent reason. It's a MAG Innovision DX1595, a really old model. Advice?

Ugh, that's an expensive solution. The most likely problem is a pinched or otherwise messed-up monitor cable (I've seen this problem before on CRT monitors).

There are no apparent problems with the cable. As for the monitor running hot? Not really, I have a fan in the room and A/C.

The cable might look normal but still be defective. Check the pins, fiddle with it, see what happens.

Kick your computer, shake your moniter violently with both hands, one on either side.

The computer should wet itself with this display of anger, and the overabundance of yellow will disappear onto the floor.

Jiggle the cables a bit - the same thing happened to me before. If that doesn't work, NEC or Mitsubishi "SB" line of monitors are quite good.

I use a 19'' flat screen trinitron. The classic.
