Well, with 'One Must Fall: Battle Grounds' comming up, the old classic 'One Must Fall: 2097' has been made freeware!! Download it here

Um, it's been made freeware for a couple years now. Since 2000 at least.
Though I cannot appreciate it as much as I should. I have Win XP Pro. When I run OMF 2097, it frequently crash quits for no reason. Is this some kind of Windows and Dos incompatibility?

Whee I love this game. It's been available awhile now tho, methinks. And anyway, I bought it when I first came out, still have all 5 floppys. Epic was a cool games company, I USED to have all kinds of their games, but all I think I have left is OMF...
Why didn't anyone tell me a new OMF is coming out? It looks really nice, and MULTIPLAYER! OMG OMF HAS MULTIPLAYER!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! Wheee!!!!

Run VDMS and it goes OK. I can only play tourney though without a drop to the desktop.
