It's really kool actually, except those stupid insane NPCs in sector 12 that keep blowing me up! Good eats there (purple stuff on the radar) but you'll need a really sturdy or fast ship to get at it...

Ok...that's weird. I've DL'd the whole thing, it said everything is ready, then when I go to play...nothing. Unless this game is supposed to take 5 minutes to start up. :?

The file you download from their web page is just a program that installs the rest of the game (and updates it when necessary.) Just give it some time to download.

I used to play the game a lot a while ago, but I've gotten bored with it recently. I'll probably come back when they implement real objective-based warfare, instead of just CTF.

There's one in each bast. It's a spinning energy globe-type thing. Should be marked by a pink dot on your radar.

In the end they will charge a monthly fee for it though. This is just an "open beta".

Am I the only one having severe connection difficulties? I can't even create an account to download the beta from due to the server timing out over half the time.

EDIT: Actually I think I'll quit Vendetta. Every time I try to eat some purple stuff, the NPCs blow me up in three hits...

also ask for somebody to give you money :P

Go on the blue team, we've got a run of flag captures, we're allgetting an extra million credits every day--you can buy the most powerful ship and start kicking asses right away :D

Well that was entertaining. Wonderful pricing balance, though I find the 100+% profits to be a little silly. Got a Mtrans with heavy engine and power cell on my first run through. Gonna scavenge and trade till I can get that turret. Then I'm gonna scavenge and trade without fear. Haven't left sector 4 yet, I'm playing blue. I'm Poison Quill.

Damn it, I went Red on an impulse. I finally hit my stride and got a decent ship with some nice weapons, and I'm financing my Medium Transport and a backup fighter just in case I die.

I don't suppose there's any way to switch teams, is there? :?
