Na, they just missed a deadline or something. Even in it's current state, Doom 3 gives HL2 a good run for its money.

I hope this doesn't end up like "Daikatana" or "Duke Nukem Forever." I doubt the former will be the case and the latter.....

IIRC, the release date for D3 was never actually released, only assumed to be sometime in Q4 2K3.

Even if it were given a date, I don't care if it's delayed a little so long as it's complete upon release. Better to suck in the pride a little and admit you made a mistake rather than bluster forward and throw a fuckton of patches at the people.
