Any one interested in an Honorverse STGOD? Basic question really. Nations would be on a first come, first serve basis. The Sollies would be divided into core and frontier to even things out a little.

All I'm saying is I claim the Andermani.

Players List

Andermani Empire: Stormbringer
Manticore: Consequences
Grayson: Beowulf
Erewhon: Kyle
Solarian Core: Grand Admiral Thrawn
Solarian Frontier: The Dark
Haven: Dahak
Silseia: ?

For these people can make up something reasonabe for them.

Pheonix:?
Midgard: ?
Asgard: ?
Mazapan: ?

What time period? There are no books after War of Honor correct (anthologies excluded)?

EDIT: I'd like some part of the Solarian League. Fear the Sleeping Giant!

Since I know next to nothing about the universe, count me out. You might also want to unsticky the old STGOD empire information thread.

I was thinking of setting it somewhat before the war with Haven kicks off in War of Honor. And even the current crop of anthologies doesn't go beyond War of Honor.

Core or Frontier?

Manties please, provided that I can exterminate the asshole brigade that thinks they are the government at that point.

You deal with what you choose, no changing the goverment that easily...

You could. Of course shooting all them is out. But you could deal with them in some manner. Naturally you're in control of your nation to a large degree.

In any case, we need a specific time frame, as 'before the war kicks off' covers a fair bit of ground.

All I really need to do to take out the 'Cretin Coalition' is to turn Captain Anton Zilwicki loose on their finances, it may take longer than fabricating a half dozen reasons for various discharged military personnel to challenge them to duels, but it will almost certainly work.

Call, it right after Haven made the announcement of their shiny new fleet?

Anyone else? We need more people than this.

Just out of curiosity, how in-character do I have to be as Manticore's leader?
There are tactics I would use that Elizabeth would never consider.

I think that you'd have to be fairly true. Preferably no full 180s at this point. That's not to say you couldn't make changes over time.

The problem I see with this is the number of people. It'll be kind of hard with just four players.

What's an STGOD?

A game in which you take control of a nation, in this case a preexisting one in Honorverse, and interact with other nations via diplomacy, war and other such things. You can generally also play a smaller organization or even an individual but this STGOD needs more players to control the nations right now.

So, you guys want to try and have go with only four people or try and recruit a few more people?

It sounds interesting, and I'm interested.
Either Solarian Frontier or Haven would be nice.

Take your pick. I'd prefer a Haven so we can fill at least the major powers but it's your choice.

Ok.
Then the Republic of Haven shall rule again!

Curse you, I wanted Haven! :P

Could I take Marsh, the system the Salamander brought into the Alliance by taking out Andre Warnecke in Honor Among Enemies? I'll take the Solly Frontier if not, but I think Marsh could be an interesting political entity, given its alliance with Manticore and proximity to Silesia.

I'd be willing to take Erewhon. It's been awhile since I TGODed (though that was with a weberverse power also), when would you be starting?
