It's Salmonax!

Post by Bob McDob »

I was vaguely aware about the new Sam & Max game out there, but due to the vagarities of life and my own stupidity I never really paid much attention. Well, it seems LucasArts finally has got some substantial stuff up on their website, and after nine years of cameos (and begging), the Freelance Police have their own game once again.

Just watched the trailer.

Best thing since ever.

Must now commence religiously reading old Sam n' Max comics until release.

I just saw it now too. I never really visit lucasarts.com......... May 12. ~Jason Edit: BTW, Salmonax?
I wonder how much it'll cost...from the trailer they are funny.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Salmonax is a reference to the second S&M comic, I think ... it's what one of the street dudes calls them.

There was also a short-lived TV series, which is probably readily available on Kazaa or something. It kind of suffered from being plugged into the Saturday Morning slot - I always saw Sam & Max as being closer to The Simpsons than, say, Pokemon.
