Wait, is this a full and total reboot, with the only thing being the same
is the original histories of nations that are being carried over? (In
other words, only the names are the same)

This is crucially important, as the old ASVS STGOD they're talking
about reviving reminds me of a Level 20 D&D campaign - the
kind where the characters are demigods and could kill half the
planet's population before breakfast for fun if they wanted to

It might be fun for the old hands who control aforementioned level
20 players, but for us level 1 players, no..

No--we're just continuing from where we left off, sort of an "alternate history" where Halite gets defeated and a bunch of destruction happens to wipe out the high-end stuff.

EDIT: Sorry. Wrong thread. I thought this was related to the.. GARH! This is confusing.

Wasn't that STGOD Mk II?

Ah, Shep, this is a different STGOD. I think. Or maybe this one won't be continued now that we're integrating its history as an option into the Mainline STGOD? (Everyone has an option of bringing their nations into that STGOD.)

The STGOD Mk.II was sort of like an alternate history for the Mainline STGOD--with the Continuation STGOD we're starting now being the history Where Nefirea Intervenes.

Anyway, sorry for crashing this thread; purely a case of confusion, I thought it was a thread about the Mainline STGOD, especially since Aly's power is the same in both cases and I thought Shep was only in that one. Garh.
