Alright, we're redoing this tech debate thing from the very begining, seeing as how the last one turned into the ASVS tech debate. And let me note

Now that that's settled, get to it.

I vote Star Wars; Honorverse is also acceptable provided someone explains it to me. Somewhere in-between is also fine, maybe defined as SW calculations before ICS? 2 gigaton HTL's rather then 200 gigaton MTL's and such.

I would prefer Honorverse, which is suppoesedly just above Star Trek DS9, because if we really had an all out war the technology would be so damaged that real progress would have been impossible.

I would go with Honorverse, because it would represent a jump in technology without being completely stupid...

Though somewhere between SW and honorverse would also be acceptable...

Pre-ICS Star Wars sounds good to me. A step up without the peculiarities of Honorverse tech. It's a much better baseline.

I actually wouldnt mind a B5 level game...

B5 level doesn't work. A 50's ICBM launched as an unguided rocket would wipe a large chunk out of someone's fleet.

If we're going to do it, we ought to have a techonoglical advance or at the very least have the same tech level.
