A very minor loss, let me assure you. I've found AA in games to be little more than a waste of system resources, anyway. 'Course, I'm one of the few that doesn't need to have all the graphical settings turned to maximum in order to sleep easy at night.

Very nice program, you can play all the popular Half-Life games for free (well, currently free). You just have to have a good internet connection, or be willing to wait 3 hours before playing the game the first time (~400 MB to download for most games) Just don't play Half-Life singleplayer (everytime you encounter a new texture/sound/anything the game stops to download it )

Sweet shit. HL2 is so gonna own Doom 3 . The graphics are just kick ass.

Oh yeah, and if you watch the bugbait video, you can see that the bugs don't just die; their body parts get shot off by the bullets depending on where the latter hit the former.

Does it spoil anything major? New weapons other than the ones we've seen already? And are those new weapons okay to be spoiled or are they like some super-cool weapons that shouldn't be spoiled? Are there any ultra-cool baddies that should be seen firsthand, not spoiled through a movie? etc, etc?

Half-Life 2 is going to freaking rock. Barney is proving himself to be quite the soldier. I already saw the Quick Time video, this just gets better and better. The new video has such quality... Hell, Half Life 2 can suck as a game and the engine alone will sell it for all the mods out there. And the Ai... The way the friendly soldiers acted was inredible.
