LCD monitor problem...
There's a single pixel on my screen that displays white as red. I tried auto-adjust and turning it off and on but it persists. The monitor is a BenQ FP767.

I't not uncommon for LCD monitors to have a one or two bad pixels in them, but I've not heard of one inverting the colours like that.
How prominent is the pixel?
And how long have you had the monitor? / Is is still under warranty.
Because fixing this problem will very likely entail sending the monitor back to the manufacturer.

What you've got is a couple of defective subpixels.
TFT monitors have three subpixel components for each pixel, one red, one green, one blue. If one becomes defective, it can get stuck off or on. (test on pure white and pure black screens)
Manufacturers usually won't replace the screen until a good few subpixel defects are visible (it's quite possible to have manufacturing defects that are unnoticable to the human eye in a TFT)
Check TomsHardware for an article on LCD displays, and what you can and can't get replaced.

I am a stupid idiot, I never sent in the warranty. Please chuck things at me.
It's only one pixel, I'll survive a few years with it.

I've heard that dead pixels aren't too common on newer LCDs, and if you do get them, your warranty should cover you. Don't know if your LCD is recent, though.

A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
