SD.net Multiplayer EUII Game(1492?)

I was wondering if those of us who play EUII here would be interested in running a longterm multiplayer game, starting in 1492, when all of the major powers are firmly in place.

I was thinking of a weekly thing, where we play an hour or two, then save and leave off. A European-centered game would probably be best, because if one person played China and everyone else played Far Eastern minors the game would be...uneven.

Any thoughts? Also, I would prefer to play under the vanilla 1.07 patch, without any of the beta patches.

YES! I call dibs on Genoa! You should keep a chart of who's playing, their prefered country, and their timezone.

The game is Europa Universalis II, Crown. Look it up, it's cool.

EDIT: I change my dib to Genoa.

Sure. If we were playing GC, I'd pick England, as I never get tired of conquering France. I'd like Brandenburg for 1492.

We're playing Age of Exploration...this seems an odd game, already we have two minors and a medium power.

I'd be interested. I got the game on sale for like $10 and then never got around to playing it, so I'll be a n00b.

EDIT: Wait, what the hell am I saying? I'm going to Chile on Tuesday and not taking my computer. The game won't be done before next Tuesday, will it?

Well I think we'd play every Saturday for around 2-3 hours and you can always pick up a nation (I think). Of course, I'm sure no one minds waiting a week...right?

I suggest you play Spain or France.

Hmmm...I hope so. It probably depends more on how much RAM you have and the host's internet connection. Do you have cable, Hemlock?
