Screenie taken yesterday. Me playing with and against bots. CTF (6 captures), Garrison 27D.
So you think that's no big deal? That it was easy, 'cause there's one more bot on my team? Well, it was Disruption 1.1 (the only weapon you can use is the DXR-6, unlimited ammo, one shot kills). The bots were all Jedi Knight level (second hardest). That means they do snap shots and hit you right between the eyes from the other side of the map. So it wasn't easy. But I still got over 1000 points, with only 3 flag captures. And I did so in 15 minutes.
Oh, and see the low resolution and crappyness of the graphics? A GeForce FX-5600 Ultra won't do much in multiplayer if you have a shitty connection.

Well, the one in JO is the same as the official one, except it has a scope and is useful as a sniper rifle, so I think it's the more accurate weapon.
Actually, the official one has a range of something like 15 meters, its power cell is only good for a few shots, but it can kill with just a glancing hit. And no, it doesn't have a stock - it's something like an SW-shotgun, only more powerful.

I know. I have a theory on that:
The Tenloss syndicate was not being entirely successful with their DX-2's and DXR-6's, because of low fire rate, ammo capacity and short range. Rival company Merr-Sonn was doing much better with it's MSD-32 and MSD-36 because they were smaller, perfect for assassination. So Tenloss added a retractable stock, and a scope and named the gun the DXR-6a (or something like that). Since disruptors are hit-scan weapons, they are perfect for assassinations. Also, the scope is on the end of the barrel. This is probably because disruptors use a mirror system to bounce the beam into the barrel, and out the end. This would explain why when you use the scope and fire, everything goes red for a second. Since they are hit-scan guns, have a scope in the barrel, so wherever you point, that's where the shot goes, and the blast stays perfectly straight, they are perfect sniper rifles.
