RA2- allied disk not recognized
I got red strike today which includes RA2 and yuri's revenge, the soviet disk seems to work fine, but the allied disk isn't even recongized by my computer, when I put it in the drive it tells me there's nothing in it, even when it prompts me to insert the disk for the allied campaign still nothing.
wondering where I can just get some help, I tried westwood's technical support that link leads me back to the main page. I was trying to find a message board on it, also The reason I bought red strike was because I had bought RA2 before but lost the allied disk, I had the soviet disk, loaded it on, and before I installed the new RA2 I got with red strike, I removed the old one with add/remove programs.

Westwood == dead, so their Tech Support site might not help much.
You legally own the game, I suggest just getting a copy of the disk (I'm sure you know the kind of places to get it from).

It's probably sitting on their old parent company's server.Sea Skimmer wrote:I think its still up in fact, which makes me wonder who the hell is paying for it.phongn wrote:That doesn't mean anything. Cavedog had a website long after they ceased operation.
EDIT: Yeah, Infogrames still keeps it up and the DNS registration doesn't expire until 2006...
